Service 262

Hartfield - Nutley - Maresfield - Uckfield - Heathfield

Route 226 Circular

From Saturday 7 April route 262 will run to a revised route and timetable. The service will commence from the centre of Hartfield instead of Forest Row while the route from Nutley to Heathfield via Maresfield and Uckfield will be unchanged. Passengers wishing to join the service from Forest Row and East Grinstead will now need to take Metrobus route 291 into Hartfield and change onto the connecting Wealdlink service 262.
The service will continue to serve Nutley, Maresfield, and Uckfield as before and for the time being Holy Cross Priory and Heathfield.
The 262 service is funded by Framfield and Maresfield Parish Councils and Uckfield Town Council who have agreed the service will continue to serve Heathfield for now and review the costs involved later in the year.
In order to provide a connecting service with East Grinstead, Forest Row and Tunbridge Wells a revised timetable is necessary. All times will run approximately 15 minutes later than before.
A full timetable is shown below.
We welcome your comments on this revised service, please contact us on 01892 771332.
