REVISED SATURDAY 262 SERVICE FROM 6 May 2017
Forest Row - Nutley - Maresfield - Uckfield - Heathfield
The WEALDLINK 262 service replaces the 261 Saturday service which ceased in May 2016 and the Saturday 231 service which ceased in February 2017.
Uckfield Town Council and Maresfield Parish Council have agreed to continue funding this service. Further funding from the other parishes served will enable the service to continue in its present form.
In consultation with passengers we are changing the timetable from Saturday May 6 2017.
The service will now commence from Post Horn Lane, Forest Row and is timed to meet the incoming 291 services from East Grinstead.
The service to Uckfield via Nutley and Maresfield will now be 27 minutes later than before but will now enable passengers from Lindfield/Haywards Heath arriving on Compass service 31 to join the 262 service for onward travel to Heathfield.
Arrival and departure at Heathfield will now be 31 minutes later than before. A full timetable is shown below. We welcome your comments on this revised service, please contact us on 01892 771332.
Concessionary passes are accepted on this service.
